ADU (Advanced Display Unit) 7 Inch
We are proud to introduce the new ECUMASTER Racing Dash family of products. The ADU5 and ADU7 have been designed in response to market demand for a cost-effective dash display with logging capabilities. Our specific goal was to create a fully customisable, feature-rich, high-quality solution for competitive racers. We have collaborated with professional drivers and race engineers to design the ADU to meet their exacting standards.
Above all, the ADU is designed to display all critical information in an easily readable format, along with a comprehensive strategy for displaying warnings.
Our Advanced Display Units are available in 5" and 7" versions. Both versions feature a high-quality, highly visible, anti-reflective screen, ensuring perfect visibility under all lighting conditions. The ADU comes with multiple pre-configured pages that can be customised by the end user to display the necessary data during each race phase (e.g., training, qualifying, race, troubleshooting, etc.). Pages can be changed manually or automatically (based on defined conditions). Every channel displayed on a page (gauges, icons, text, etc.) can be easily adjusted in real-time using user-friendly Windows-based software. Our extensive overlay system facilitates the display of multiple pages for important data (e.g., low oil pressure, fastest lap, etc.), independent of the currently displayed page.
The ADU is also equipped with 15 ultra-bright RGB LEDs that can be used as an advanced shift light dependent on gear and customised with user-defined logic (for warnings, low fuel level, etc.). By using IR beacons or a GPS system, the display becomes a powerful lap timer with a predictive timing feature. Selecting the qualification page activates a "Qualification Mode," which utilises advanced predictive lap timing based on automatically updated "best" reference laps.
User-configurable timers can be adjusted for additional functionality (e.g., pit stop timer, etc.). The ADU also supports thermal cameras for monitoring brake pads or tyre temperatures (up to 16 points per tyre). Communication with other devices in the car is facilitated via two built-in, independent CAN-BUS communication ports. CAN templates are provided for the most popular ECUs and are fully configurable, allowing you to connect our hardware to virtually any engine management system.
To ensure seamless operation of all functions, our device is based on a 32-bit automotive controller coupled with a state-of-the-art graphics processor. This combination provides the perfect working environment for any engineer or driver and guarantees anti-aliasing, high-quality graphics at 50 frames per second. For further data analysis, data channels can be logged to a USB flash drive at a frequency of up to 500Hz. All these "must-have" features and more are housed in a robust, specially CNC-machined, black anodised casing.
